CONNECTOR MOUNTING OPTIONS
Eurorack is designed for use with DIN41612 type connectors and motherboard/backplane mounting. Three types of subrack are available: TYPE 1 to accept DIN connectors directly; TYPE 2 to accept Motherboards; TYPE 3 which accepts both DIN connectors via add-on rails and Motherboards.
PCB SIZES FOR 3U SUBRACKS
3U subracks accept 100mm Eurocards vertically and double height 233.34mm Eurocards horizontally using the horizontal card mounting kit. 112.00mm PCB’s can be fitted vertically using the low profile guide rail.
SHOCK AND VIBRATION TESTING
Eurorack has been tested to BS 2011 part 2.1 Fc, which was applied to standard 3U and 6U full width subrack. These were loaded with 2kg and 12.5kg respectfully. Frequency range; 10Hz – 500Hz, amplitude; 0.35mm/5GN. The duration of the test being two hours in each of the three mutually perpendicular planes. Full test results are available on request.
