Upgradeable EMC screening
The EMC screening is achieved through gaskets fitted in-board of the panels. The level of screening can easily be increased by reducing the interval between each gasket, so finely tuned screening levels can be achieved.
Dust & Splashproofing to IP55
The range complies with IP55, with snugly fitting, rattle-free covers that protect against dust penetration and water ingress.
Earthing up to Class 1
Cubic’s design provides impressive integral strength as well as highly efficient bonding. Specially designed corner joints allow full LVD approved earth bonding of the enclosure frame and cladding. Up to Class 1 bonding can be specified.
Transportability
Cubic enclosures feature excellent structural integrity tuned for maximum resistance to all forms of shock and vibration. For units that need to be transported, the Cubic range meets LVD requirements with a tough hinged carrying handle that takes full account of dynamic loading and safety. Users can be confident that the handle will not fracture even when subjected to four times the normal static load.
Variable depth mounting
Variable-position front and rear equipment amounting uprights, permit recess mounting, if required. Angle supports can be added to independently support heavier equipment. Solid or glass doors can be hung to left or right, top or bottom and with 180°opening for total access.
